Prayer Vigil Saturday

On Saturday, November 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Trinity Episcopal Church, 3401 Bellaire Dr. So., Ft. Worth, TX 76109, will be open and available for those who wish to pray for those who will be attending the diocesan convention. Come observe this historic day in the life of our diocese by praying for the welfare of those who choose to leave the Episcopal Church and for wisdom and guidance for those who will stay and work to reorganize our diocese.

The sanctuary will be open for prayer and meditation. A labyrinth will be available in the Parish Hall. Provision will be made for live-stream internet screening of the diocesan convention proceedings in another part of the church, and a light luncheon will be served at noon.
Episcopalians who will be working to reorganize the diocese are urged to spend at least part of the day doing outreach by volunteering at food banks, at the Presbyterian Night Shelter, or at any other ministry of their choice.

Saturday morning I will walk the labyrinth at Trinity Cathedral and pray for the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth and for all people to be blessed with peaceful hearts, helping hands, and God's grace during this transition. Sometimes to go from strength to strength we must walk hard paths. Prayerfully, Pat Klemme, Phoenix AZ

We have all known this day was coming. That doesn't make it any easier on those of us in the diocese wishing to stay in the ECUSA, or any less painful.
